Forget that sugary drink. Drink water!

If you haven’t already cut out the sugary, carbonated beverages by now… JUST DO IT already! Water is the absolute best source of fluid for our bodies. There are numerous reasons as to why we should stop drinking, or at least limit consumption, of other beverages other than water. These “other” beverages might include: sodas (even diet sodas!), sweet tea, alcohol, fruit juices, sport drinks (i.e., Gatorade), energy drinks, sugary coffees/lattes, etc.

These HIGH-sugar beverages can lead to weight gain, energy crashes, high resting blood glucose levels, chronic diseases (like diabetes), cavities, and the list goes on. So start making that transition to cease the intake of these sweet drinks and start making the conversion of drinking MORE WATER. After all, without it, we couldn’t survive. Not to mention, it has ZERO calories and is FREE of sugar!

Here is a list of reasons as to why we should drink water:

  • Supports Metabolism – water increases metabolism, which helps burn more fat, and can assist with weight loss
  • Increases Energy – our brains are mostly water, so by drinking more of it, we are able to focus/concentrate better, and be more alert
  • Flushes Out Toxins – gets ride of waste through sweat and urination; great way to detox the body
  • Provides Pure Hydration –the best source at preventing dehydration
  • Promotes Weight Loss – removes by-products of fat; helps you feel more full which may decrease appetite and hunger
  • Boosts Immunity – whenever you are sick, it is important to drink plenty of water to fight against ailments
  • Alleviates Headaches – mainly caused by dehydration, water will help ease migraines or any pain in the neck/back/shoulders
  • Helps Digestion – helps food be broken down properly; also prevents constipation
  • Maintains Fluid Balance - acid/base balance; homoeostasis within the body
  • Prevents Muscle Cramps – especially when working out, keep joints lubricated and muscles more elastic
  • Improves Skin Complexion – anti-aging properties, which help keep skin glowing and moisturized

This is a great gym with more than everything one needs in a gym! The equipment is good and the cardio area is bright and energetic. There is ample room for free weights and stretching.
