The cost varies from $65 to $215 based on how many total sessions you would like to sign up for (we offer discounts for more). Other factors, like the time you spend in your session combined with your instructor’s level of expertise also help decide the overall cost.

Sport & Health stands out in that they have a huge focus on continuing education for instructors. There are a variety of individualized special classes, like Pilates for Kids and Pilates for Osteoarthritis (“Strong Bone Pilates”).
Yoga's roots in philosophy and the spiritual experience mark it as distinct from Pilates. While both involve physical benefits, Pilates is concerned purely with the physical and is all about control of your body's core. There are no elements of spirituality or philosophy associated with Pilates (other than the philosophy that fitness is important to a healthier and happier life). Despite their differences, both are rewarding pursuits with varying degrees of challenge.
Yogalates is a system founded by Louise Solomon and is a fusion of Pilates and yoga. It combines the core control principles of Pilates with the sometimes-demanding postures of yoga. It also incorporates the mystical and spiritual aspects of Yogic philosophy.
Every student's rate of progress is dependent on their current physical status and how often and diligently they practice. To quote Joseph Pilates himself, “You will feel better in ten sessions, look better in twenty sessions, and have a completely new body in thirty sessions.”
The strengthening effect of Pilates on the core muscles provides excellent support for the spine; a beneficial result during pregnancy. A consultation with your physician and the advice of our qualified instructors will better inform you as to which Pilates movements would suit you best.
It is best to wear form-fitting clothing that will still allow for comfort and freedom of movement. Extremely loose clothing is not recommended as it may interfere with the mechanisms of Pilates equipment. Even if you are only using a mat in your training, very baggy clothing tends to move around, impeding vision and hindering comfortable performance.
