Sport&Health Unveils New Reston Club Equipped
with the Latest Technology
McLean, Virginia (September 11, 2013) – Sport&Health is proud to announce the grand reopening of its Reston, Virginia club after investing more than $1.5 million in improvements. Working with Vibe Design Inc., the revitalized Reston Sport&Health has a refreshed interior design and new state-of-the-art equipment.
The club features over 70 new pieces of cardio fitness equipment including personal viewing screens; new functional training studio featuring TRX Suspension Training; new strength equipment including the latest in interactive training equipment; and a new virtual MyRide cycle studio featuring “Forward Motion Video” (FMV). FMV is a first-person experience that allows participants to feel as if they are traveling through a location just as they would in real life. Riders can travel different routes in over 70 countries and experience the scenery from each ride.
Other notable features include redesigned locker rooms with full amenities and a Finnish sauna. The club also boasts a new Mind/Body studio where members can find moments of Zen with Pilates and yoga. The remodeled Kidz Klub provides a spacious environment for Sport&Health’s youngest members to be active.
Rated as the 7th best city to live in the country, Reston offers an unmatchable healthy and happy environment to its residents. Dedicated to the fight against childhood obesity, promoting heart health and preserving health and fitness for senior citizens, Sport&Health strives to create an environment where all members feel comfortable and engaged in the club.
“We are committed to providing our members with the best in health and fitness,” said Mark Fisher, Sport&Health CEO and President. “We invest in our clubs because we are invested in the communities we serve. It is our hope that the Reston community will see that commitment in our remodeled club.”
Vibe Design Inc. has previously worked with Sport&Health on the architecture and design for the company’s newest clubs, as well as the redesign of many Sport&Health Club locations.
