Sport&Health: Prenatal Workouts
NBC Washington 4NEWS

authorSport & Health Clubs recently stopped by NBC Washington's studios to demonstrate how maintaining a regular exercise routine throughout your pregnancy can help you stay healthy and feel your best. Ingrid Martin, Group Fitness Director at Bethesda Sport&Health, alongside mother-to-be Sandy Gribbin, Personal Trainer and Instructor at Sport&Health, recommends working with a stability ball for flexibility and to represent the lifting of your child. Strengthen your arms by doing bicep curls to represent cradling your baby, and performing lunges for back strengthening and core stability. Sport&Health recommends checking with your doctor first before performing any exercises during pregnancy. Talk to any of the personal trainers at the club for more information.
