Friends, family and coworkers of Benjamin Mufti gathered in Rock Creek Park to honor him in a very special 5k Run/Walk. Ben, a personal trainer at Northwest Sport&Health, died October 19th from injuries resulting from a fallen tree branch in Northwest DC. He is remembered for his great sense of humor and his amazing outlook on life. He had a passion for endurance sports, recently completing the Ironman Lake Placid. He was an inspiration to many, and he is missed dearly.

All proceeds benefited one of Ben’s favorite charities, The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.

Ben was a good friend, a great person and everyone who knew him is a little bit better because of it. He was loved by all and is dearly missed.
